Bowel Cancer Screening Information

If you are aged 50 to 74 and have received an NHS Bowel Cancer Screening test in the post, please make sure you complete it. The test is simple and done at home. It looks for tiny traces of blood in your poo, which can be a sign of bowel cancer. You just collect a small sample using the kit and post it back in the prepaid envelope. To find out more call the Free NHS Helpline on 0800 707 6060.

NHS Leeds South and East Clinical Commissioning Group along with Leeds City Council have launched a campaign to raise awareness of bowel cancer and how important it is for people to complete and return their bowel cancer screening kit.
