Please read the below instructions on how to book an online appointment. This guide will show you step by step on how to follow the SMS link to book appointments through your online services.
If you have received a text message link from ‘NHS-NoReply’ or ‘LCMP’, this is safe to click!
This is how Leeds City Medical Practice often send invitations out for appointments, this allows patients to book appointments themselves.
You may have received this link to book your flu vaccination.
Before clicking on the link, ensure you have an internet / Wi-Fi connection! Otherwise you will not be able to book online.
Please note: the link will expire after 7 days. Please only use this link to book appropriate appointments, you will only be able to book appointments that you have been invited for. For example: If you have received an invite to book your flu, you can ONLY book for flu. If your annual Long Term Condition review is due, and you have an invite, you will only be able to book in for this.
After you have clicked on the link, it will ask you to input your date of birth.
Simply type your date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format. For example: 17/03/1978. Alternatively, you can click the dropdown box and find your birthday here.
If this is done incorrectly, it will bring you back to today’s date.
You now need to input a date period. Most appointments are not for 4+ weeks, and therefore no appointments will show unless you change the period dropdown box to a later date.
Once you have changed the time period, click the ‘Show’ button. Appointment options should now appear.
A list of clinics should now be visible. You can chose who you want to book with, what date and time
.
The details of the appointment you have chosen, will now appear here.
You must click ‘Book Appointment’ to confirm this.
