We have started our Zero Tolerance information campaign. The following message has been sent to ALL patients to advise of the many services the Patient Care Team may signpost to and advise we are zero tolerance to abuse within the practice:
“Dear [Patient Name], Our Patient Care Advisors in reception are trained to help you access the right treatment at the right time. This may not always be with a GP, as general practice is more than just your GP. Please can all our patients be aware that the Practice operates Zero Tolerance to all violence and aggression. The team are all here to help.”
This was not a targeted SMS campaign, apologies if it was/is perceived as such – our SMS system defaults to entering the patient name at the start of all messages.
