24-hour Voice Message Appointment and Prescription Service

Order a repeat prescription, book, cancel or check your appointment – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Through the use of a new telephone automated service you can now book, change, check or cancel your GP appointment or order your repeat prescription 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How will it work?

When you call the surgery number you will now hear a new option. If you choose to use Patient Partner you will be asked to enter your date of birth and telephone number using the telephone keypad. Your phone details must be up to date as this will be used to identify you on our clinical system and it will reject your log in if there are any differences.

When your information has been checked and accepted by the system you will then be offered options to book, cancel or check outstanding appointments. If you choose to book a new appointment the system finds a suitable appointment and offers it to you.

To order a repeat prescription the system requires a 6 digit PIN number. Your PIN number will be sent to you via a text message, if you have not received this, please contact the practice to have one set.

By using this new service the practice hopes to manage, improve and ease telephone access along with easing early morning congestion, giving you more control of accessing the practice.
