Patient Welfare Checks

The Medical Practice is not able to undertake welfare checks on behalf of third parties who have concerns about patients due to being unable to make contact with them.  If a third party has concerns about the welfare of an uncontactable patient, it is their responsibility to follow their own organisation’s policies to assess and act on any potential risk. This may include contacting the Police, Social Services or Ambulance Service as appropriate.
