Automated Receptionist – Voice Connect

We constantly consider patient feedback and review our processes to ensure the best possible service for our patients.

This month, we have introduced a new option to our telephone system which will enable patients to skip the queue and receive a faster service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Patients can choose to follow simple step-by-step instructions which will enable them to: order a repeat prescription; raise an admin query (for example, fit notes); book a non-urgent appointment or check and cancel appointments.

Using this option will give patients an easy way to contact the Practice and reduce your time waiting in call queues.

 

How To Order A Repeat Prescription:

You will need to obtain a 6-digit prescription PIN.  Then, when you call the Practice, you will be asked to enter:

  • Your date of birth (in a six-digit format, e.g. 01.02.03)
  • Your registered telephone number
  • Your 6-digit prescription PIN (which you will be given when you register for this service)

Once logged in, you will hear the medications you are able to order.

 

If you want to order medication on the phone, but do not yet have your 6-digit PIN, please call the surgery – using option 1 and 4 when on our automated receptionist.
