Zero Tolerance

Leeds City Medical Practice operates a zero-tolerance policy in respect of aggressive behaviour.  This policy is for the protection of staff, but also for the protection of other patients, their families, visitors, etc.
Aggressive behaviour, be it violent or abusive, will not be tolerated and may result in you being removed from the Practice list and, in extreme cases, the Police being contacted.
All our staff aim to be polite, helpful, and sensitive to all patients’ individual needs and circumstances – staff should not be left upset and distressed following an interaction with a patient.
We expect all patients to be responsible and avoid attending the surgery under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
If at any point you are seriously unhappy with the quality of service you have the right to either make a formal complaint, or register with another practice without notifying us.
Please see our Policy below for further details.
We ask for your cooperation in making sure that this surgery remains a safe environment for both staff and patients.
